Train more with quality
We believe that soccer players in the United States do not train enough. Soccer is a very challenging sport that rewards players that excel in technique and tactical awareness. Many travel soccer programs only train 2-3 times per week, yet demand a level of technical/tactical awareness in games that is beyond how much they train. With the push towards Play-Practice-Play by US Soccer, many of our quality trainers are not spending their time in training sessions on technical work unopposed. This is no fault of theirs'. They are trying to develop players based on the recommendations of our governing body.
Although R76 trainers do not often push unopposed training, we do believe that teaching a player proper technique for passing, receiving, dribbling, shooting, and heading is key.

Rebel 76 Soccer wants to help fill the gaps not by simply providing more training, but by providing supplemental training in smaller groups, by seasoned professionals who have a true vested interest in the local soccer community.
Our goal is to enhance the soccer experience of all of our athletes through guided instruction, organized and facilitated by local soccer educators and coaches.
The TPT Progressive model of player development is key when deciding on the focus of an athlete. Players may have strong technique, but lack the physical coordination necessary for the field of play. Players may be tactically aware and make great decisions, but their technique never developed to carry out those decisions. Any deficit in the TPT model can lead to frustration. R76 programs can build on the skills and instill mental toughness to play off of strengths and push forward with positive progress.
